Cover & title of my second novel.

Here it is. This is the cover and title of my second book. IK ZAL DE WERELD BREKEN (I WILL
BREAK THE WORLD) will be published on 19 May 2026.

A story about three generations who must solve an impossibly great mystery together. A story that begins in 2025 and ends more than a hundred years in the future. An exciting book full of danger and intrigue, set throughout Europe, but also a book about people who lose control of their lives and try to make sense of it all.

Shortly after my debut was published, I had two ideas. The first idea was an opening scene in an old, forgotten cemetery, where all the gravestones bear exactly the same name. The second idea came not long after: the dénouement of this book and the reason why all those people are lying there. While I was giving interviews, attending award ceremonies and going on a book tour, that story continued to grow. And I knew I had to take my time to work it out.

So I can't wait to finally share it with you in May 2026, almost exactly three years later.
