It seems quiet, but there is a lot of typing going on....

Is Lex still alive?

On a subreddit for audio drama fans, a small-scale amateur investigation has been launched. Where is Lex and is he doing well? I've posted so little lately that it took the help of the Wayback Machine to find out if I'm still making anything.

It's certainly flattering to be missed, especially given the bizarre headlines from the rest of the world. So high time for an update.

I'm alive, and I'm busy:

Last year, I wrote a script for NTR. For them, I am going to produce a podcast called STOKER. This will be a bizarre and exciting story about a company you can hire if you want to cause arguments between people. Shooting starts in just under a month, so I'm busy casting and pre-production right now. If everything goes according to plan, you can start listening in November this year. Lead roles will be played by Lottie Hellingman and Nasrdin Dchar.

I am also working with a leading production house and a top director on a concept for a feature film. I am not allowed to write too much about this yet, but we have developed the outline of the story and are now busy fleshing it out. A really fun process.

In June, my debut, The Man With A Thousand Faces, will be released in America and the UK, and that also has a lot going for it: choosing covers, checking translations, meeting booksellers, etc. etc.

This summer also sees the release of the second part of my podcast THE DECA TAPES. Last year, I crowdfunded that production budget and was able to make the show. For fans of the genre, this will be a real treat, I am very proud of how it turned out. The release date will follow as soon as possible.

But most of my time is spent writing my second book. I want to submit my next thriller to AWBruna sometime this year, so it will hopefully be in the shops next year. I'm about halfway through my first version now, but that's not saying much, because I did 13 versions on The Man with a Thousand Faces... Although this one is even grander than its predecessor, I do hope to take a little less time.

In short, no worries. I am still typing. And he who types, lives.
